Post Behaviour Interactive Studio Visit Dev Log

Hey everyone! After our visit to Behaviour Interactive Studio, we have a bunch of new ideas lined up for beta.

What’s New

  • Pieces Falling into the Room – Furniture pieces now drop naturally into the room, adding a fun touch of realism.
  • Pick Up and Throw Pieces – You can pick up pieces and throw them around, which makes interacting with the environment much more dynamic.
  • Assemble from Selection – No more having to place and select each piece before building. You can now assemble directly from your selection, making the process faster and smoother.
  • Temporary Selected Piece Indicator – Added a quick visual indicator to show which piece you currently have selected.

What’s Coming for Beta

Based on the feedback we received during our visit, we’re planning several new features and improvements:

  • New Features – Adding a camera toggle between third-person and first-person views, a radio system to loop through different background music tracks, and a count-up timer for each session.
  • UI Updates – We’ll be integrating the assets from the design team and updating our UI to match their visual direction.
  • New Level – Introducing Level 1, our tutorial level, to help new players get comfortable with the mechanics.
  • Gameplay Logic Updates – Improving the throw mechanic so it feels more natural, allowing rotation in placement mode, and refining other small interactions for smoother gameplay.

We’re really excited about how far things have come since the studio visit, and these next changes will make the experience even more engaging and polished. Stay tuned for the beta!
